In 2015, I took part in the State Training Programme for Law Enforcement Officers and Labour Officers, which was jointly organized by the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) and the International Labour Organization (ILO). This transformative training enhanced my understanding of human trafficking as a cross-border organized crime and provided me with effective strategies for victim-centered responses, international collaboration, and legal measures to combat trafficking. It also emphasized the vital role played by law enforcement, labour departments, and civil society in efforts related to prevention, protection, and prosecution.
